SOUTH HOUSTON, Texas – Emergency crews are responding to a reported asphalt tank failure in the 300 block of Christy Place at Martin Asphalt Company, where authorities say one person was killed.

Authorities are on the scene of an industrial accident that occurred on Wednesday afternoon, officials said.
