For your acceleration days, you NEED to be doing this drill and I’ll tell too exactly why… . . Acceleration workouts require a really good prep warmup. I preach this to all my athletes. By the time the workout starts, you need to be not just warmed up, but fully ready to FIRE. This is one of the drills I use to implement this. Focus on a big jump, use your arms, and sprint after the first jump. So it goed like this: staggered foot, jump on good step, accelerate through 15m. Simple, but powerful.
