Engine 3-6 set up for a saltwater draft in a training recently. Drafting consist of taking water from a large supply and using a vacuum to pull water to the pump and then back out, essentially unlocking large amounts of water at a time. Our only kicker is having a spot to get close enough to the water and the fact that we have to take special care to clean the pumps and trucks after flowing salt water to not damage or degrade our trucks. | CHINCOTEAGUE VOLUNTEER FIRE CO.
